Job Description:
This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR), Atlantic Oceanographic & Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) with one vacancy in Miami, FL.

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor contractor work performance for janitorial, security, and building grounds maintenance/improvement contract.
- Ensure contract compliance by examining goods or services provided and certifying prior to payment.
- Oversee and ensure the need for local purchase for facility support items, grounds maintenance and custodial services have been identified and initiated.
- Develop, plan, control and track facility operating and maintenance budgets. Prepare and maintain facility maintenance plans and provide expert construction and project management support.
- Maintain government-owned vehicles (GOV) for the facility, including monitoring and tracking general scheduled repairs and maintenance.
- Develop and implement policies and plans for contingency and facility operations/repairs in response to natural disasters and emergencies.
- Ensure the effective installation, operation and maintenance of facility security systems, surveillance systems, and building access systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections and quality control reviews of contract services, projects, and facility conditions.
- Identify and report deficiencies, safety and security risks, noncomplying uses, and damage and nonfunctional facility assets.
- Serve as lead for third party inspections including solicited and unsolicited inspections performed by contract services and compliance agencies and works with parties to correct deficiencies.
